Attracting capital to turn innovative ideas and projects into thriving and commercialized projects is one of the strategies of the Vice President for Science and Technology. Accordingly, a call was issued to meet the needs and challenges of the country's mining and the creation of new knowledge-based industries.

According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, in order to help develop the market of companies with applied products in the mining and mineral industries, a call for holding an event to meet the needs and challenges of mining and create new knowledge-based industries was issued by the Vice President for Science and Technology. 

In this event, knowledge-based, creative and technology companies with technological ideas and plans related to the mining and mining industries to meet the needs and challenges of the country's mining and the creation of new knowledge-based industries have been invited to cooperate. Supporting people with innovative ideas and plans to solve problems and meet the technological needs of Sepahan Rehabilitation Industries and Mines Complex Company is one of the objectives of this event.

The Vice Chancellor for Science and Technology Network, the Headquarters for Technological Development, Photonics, Lasers, Advanced Materials and Construction of the Vice Chancellor for Science, the Innovation and Prosperity Fund and the National Elite Foundation are among the partner institutions in this project.

New applications of minerals, mineral trade and logistics, production of advanced materials and equipment of mining industry and value-added ideas in the extraction of rare earth elements, production of coal, iron, copper, gold and manganese, metal and downstream industries are defined as the focus of this event. 

According to the Deputy Minister of Science, in addition to topics such as optimization of processing lines and production of minerals, recycling of tailings and waste of mines and mining industries and increasing the efficiency of mining machinery and equipment are also areas that can attract capital and investors.
