The head of the Iranian Stone Association announced the production of 17 million tonnes of mineral products annually in the country.

The head of the Iranian Mine House also emphasized the need to invest in the stone processing sector and said that conquering the global markets can only be achieved by investing in this sector.

Mohammad Reza Bahraman added: "We need to change the dominant view of the mining sector and think about conquering markets with high investments in this sector."

He said: "Today we should not worry about mineral investment in the country, because we have gained the necessary knowledge in this field.
