Member of the Board of Directors of the International Stone Exhibition of Iran: We criticize the way in which tax enforcement is implemented and believe that this is not correct and should be reviewed.

According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Mohammad Shahverdi, member of the board of directors of Iran's International Stone Exhibition, said in an exclusive interview with the Iranian Stone News Agency: "There has been a good deal of agreement between Iran and five countries, following which Iran's economic sanctions have been lifted. Is. The lifting of sanctions has not yet had an impact on the stone industry and the industry is still in recession.

"Brajam is at the beginning of his journey and it takes some time to show his positive impact on the economy," he said.

He pointed out: "Some of our large stone mills are equipped with very modern equipment that is capable of entering export markets, which opens the door for smaller factories by removing the problem of boycotts and the entry of large factories into exports. They can supply the stone needed internally.

Regarding the various taxes levied on quarries and production units, he said: "Taxation is the right of the government and taxation must be levied for dependence on oil money and on domestic capabilities." We are critical of how tax enforcement is implemented and believe that this is not correct and should be reviewed.

He continued: There are many businesses in the country that are not registered and do not pay taxes, there are many brokers who have a very high liquidity and easily operate in the stone industry but this People also don't pay taxes.

He added: "Paying taxes in this way during this time of stagnation in the stone industry will give producers of the high pressure stone industry a double boost." Many production units are unable to pay tax due to the recession and therefore prefer to close their factory. The closure of the factory and the laying off of the workers in addition to the very negative economic effects also have very negative social and cultural effects.

He stressed: Another major problem of the banks' production units is the lack of support from banks. The interest of the banks is so great that it is not suitable for productive work at all and has no economic justification.
