Mahallat County Governor: Sixty percent of Iran's Travertine reserves and twelve percent of the world's reserves, as well as two hundred and eighty stone processing plants, are located in the city.

Zeynivand pointed to exports to the city, saying that because of the high cost of production in the city, there was no power to compete with neighboring countries, including Turkey, so the government should think about exporting and protecting exports.
He continued: In the near future, Mahalat city will become a pole of waste paper production, which we hope will be launched by the beginning of 1977.
The Neighborhood Governor said: Neighbors as the flower capital of Iran has a hectare of 100 hectares of flowering area and also has a great variety of flowers and has 5,000 varieties of ornamental flowers in production as well as the International Neighborhood Flower Exhibition. Opens.
Zinnivand noted that the ornamental fish town is under construction, with six billion credits allocated to it, five billion of which have been allocated.
