Secretary of the Iranian Stone Association: In terms of sanctions, our export has reached its minimum level in recent years and only certain types of stones are exported.

According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, the secretary of the Iranian Stone Association, Iran's position in the field of stone export in spite of its high capacity is unacceptable and said: "In the field of export, we have no special place in the world. We have about forty million square meters. We have a year of production capacity. The global market is a multi-billion square meter market that we currently have only about half to one percent of the total world market.

He added: "With regard to sanctions, our exports have reached a minimum in recent years and only certain types of stones are exported." The average sales of our exported crude stones is one hundred and twenty dollars per ton. In the processed sectors we have a lot of capacity.

Hossein Soroush considered Iran's rock to be one of the best in the world and said: "We have an incredible variety of hard and soft rocks in Iran. Iran is among the eighteen countries in the richness of ornamental stones and is one of the best in terms of color and quality. Iran is third in the world in extraction after China and India.

The head of the board of directors of the Mahalatan Guilders' Trade Union considered one of the obstacles to the development of the stone industry as economic barriers and said that one of the problems of our exporters is inflation. The inflation rate in our country is very high. Over sixty or seventy or sometimes one hundred percent we have a price increase while in other countries we do not see inflation like this.

He said: "When a foreign customer orders us 20,000 meters of stone it is unacceptable for us to say that the price was last week and has risen thirty percent now." This is considered one of the threatening factors of our exports because our manufacturer has no assurance that the contract that it has closed today will be able to deliver next month.

The secretary of the Iranian Stone Association said the next problem for exporters was the lack of financing and support, saying that in other countries financial systems have 100% support for the export sector and the government has created this requirement for financial systems.

"Our exporters open the LCD when they want to export a product that comes to them three or four months later," he said. Manufacturers cannot afford to survive after four months of exporting their product. In foreign countries, banks or the government buy these LCDs and provide them with the liquidity needed by the manufacturer.

He criticized the weakness of the government and the banking system in supporting the producers. "In our country, if they want to cash in on these LCDs, they will do more than 30% of profits at the expense of the producer. One of our competitors in exporting the country," he said. Turkey. Manufacturers of cracks do not have these problems, they participate very easily in global markets, and they take over the market very easily.

Hossein Soroush described the sanctions as a deadly blow to the country's economy and said: "One of the problems for exporters is that they are exporting luggage, that is, we are getting money through brokerage, but when the sanctions are lifted, we are very easily receiving money from the banking networks." .
