Secretary of the Iranian Stone Association: The issue of sanctions, what they were doing in previous governments, and some of our friends in parliament who supported the sanctions, which is constructive and so on and so on, today are overturning the condemnation of sanctions and all language They have opened up that sanctions hit the economy.

According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, the secretary of the Iranian Stone Association considered the lack of export culture among the domestic producers as one of the reasons for the lack of export of the stone industry and said: The system and structure of the stone producers are based on the needs of the domestic market; They are not familiar with export production standards. This lack of familiarity with export production standards is not due to a lack of technological facilities in the country and is merely a matter of knowledge.

He added that the highest per capita consumption of stone in the world belongs to our country. We consume twice as much as Americans. The boom in the domestic market and the demand for stone have made manufacturers reluctant to export.

Hossein Soroush said disregard for global standards of stone production is the biggest problem of export culture, saying: "When we do not know our customer in such a country that has the potential to be our target market, what kind of stone does the quality and conditions need, that is, culture?" Our exports have not grown as well.

He said another problem in the stone export sector was the problems of the political arena and said: "The issue of sanctions, what they were doing in previous governments and some of our friends in parliament supported sanctions, which is constructive and so on, so today. They are breaking down in condemning the boycott, and everyone has opened up that the boycott has hit the economy. Previous governments have called the boycott a piece of paper, all of which has had a devastating impact on our international credit market.

The secretary of the Iranian Stone Association criticized politicization in the economic arena, saying: "Politicization has become involved with our whole lives and even our market." In foreign markets, politics is separate from trade and politics is at the service of trade. In our country, the economy is at the service of politics.

He added: "In our country, political decisions are very easy to disrupt our economic mechanisms and most importantly our global credibility. There is no trust in our market and foreign traders have no incentive to buy stones and trade with us.

Soroush criticized the State Department's lack of attention to manufacturing and export concerns, saying: "One of the major problems with production is that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the economic agents of the whole world are at the service of production, but not in our country."

He added: "The State Department should feel more responsible and have their economic agents in the embassies and be able to help our craftsman deliver their goods more easily."

The secretary of the Iranian Stone Association considered the legal problems as one of the causes of the manufacturers' reluctance to export and said: Another of our problems is in the legal sector. The Turkish government and the Turkish consulate are coming in for a Turkish citizen to come to Iran and in his right to be harmed. But if that happens to an Iranian citizen, do we have such support? No.
