In a meeting with the representative of the Supreme Leader in the Assembly of Experts, a group of producers and exporters expressed their problems and views on the country's economic situation and complained about the government's confusion and indecision in the economic sector.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, the problems of the private sector in the context of sanctions have become more difficult with the outbreak of the Corona virus in the current year, and domestic decisions and conditions have multiplied the problems and caused the private sector including producers, exporters and importers. They will be in a very difficult situation, the result of which will not be positive for the country.

Given these circumstances and the efforts of the private sector for the right decisions by the government and the lack of attention to the approaches of the private sector as front-line soldiers in the current situation, private sector activists during a meeting with Ayatollah Mohsen Kazeruni, as representative of the Supreme Leader in The Assembly of Experts tried to convey its demands to the Assembly of Experts.

In this meeting, Farshid Farzanegan, President of the Joint Chamber of Commerce of Iran and the UAE, referring to the many obstacles and problems facing the country's exports, said: "It is necessary to examine the problems and obstacles of the country's trade, especially in the field of export of non-sanctioned goods."

* Sixteen percent increase in exports of agricultural products to the UAE

According to him, during 1397 and last year, the production of agricultural products has grown more than before and it is expected that this growing trend of production will continue this year; However, due to the surplus of production, the importance of exporting agricultural products was not fully understood and the trend of exporting agricultural products did not increase as expected with the creation of various sanctions.

Referring to the 16 percent increase in agricultural exports to the UAE, Farzanegan said: "Increasing the export of agricultural products in order to preserve the country's resources and water, as well as the return of currency to the country is very important and if these problems are not solved radically." It will harm the employment of the country.

* Carrying perishable products to the UAE with non-standard launches

Referring to the lack of supervision over the loading of products and its export, he added: "Increasing transportation costs due to the lack of refrigerated containers in the country is one of the problems of exporting agricultural products;" At the same time, we have repeatedly demanded that this container be produced domestically to the extent of its domestic production capacity and that it be released in order to meet the import needs to reduce the cost of export shipping.

The head of the Iran-UAE Joint Chamber of Commerce announced the transportation of perishable products by non-standard launches and said: "Failure to comply with packaging standards and the lack of Iranian brand in international markets is a great loss to the country's exports."

He considered the decisions of the government to create the government without consulting the private sector as another problem of the country and said: "We should know that the export markets are achieved on the costly and extensive efforts of international marketing and the creation of laws at the moment causes great damage to traders' reputation." he does.

* Increase the period of settlement of foreign exchange obligations to six months

Farzanegan continued: "Non-compliance with packaging, lack of quality of refrigerated containers are among the cases that have increased the share of agricultural waste and now at least thirty-five percent of agricultural exports are lost."

He pointed to the credit sale of Iran's export products and the return of its currency after at least three months and said: "It is not possible to fulfill the foreign exchange obligation after four months of exporting the product in the current situation and the private sector requests an increase to six months."

The head of the Iran-UAE Joint Chamber of Commerce, in order to meet the export obligation, added: "It is possible that part of the agricultural products will not be sold after export and because the sale is credit, the whole burden will not be settled;" But according to the central bank, the entire currency of the shipment must be returned to the country, and this is a problem that has not been addressed.

He also referred to the sale in Rials and said: in the border markets, many goods are sold in Rials; At the same time, rial exports do not make sense for the government.

Farzanegan pointed to solutions to facilitate the country's exports and said: "The country's logistics and ports should be organized and this can be followed up through the Export Development Commission of the Iran Chamber and has been discussed in the Supreme Export Council."

He stressed the need to import refrigerated containers and also said: "In this situation, it is necessary to establish commercial offices in neighboring countries with export targets that have considerable export potential."

The economic activist, while pointing to the need to equip export terminals, stressed: the clearing system or barter room should be activated in the country so that during the agreement of exporter and importer the price of export currency is agreed in the destination bank and used for importer import (without money transfer).

* Exporters playground of rocky

In this meeting, Jamshid Nafar, the head of the non-oil export commission of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, referring to the special position of the clergy in the country, said: "Now the enemy has given us an exceptional opportunity and if we can use this opportunity properly, there will be an economic revolution." .

He continued: "Unfortunately, we have lost this opportunity, like other opportunities provided in the last forty years. Previously, the collapse of the Soviet Union was a unique economic opportunity for the country, which Turkey took full advantage of.

According to Nafar, Turkmenistan is the closest CIS country to Iran, and there were very good political conditions between the two countries so that we could use their resources; But because the economy in Iran was oil-based, we missed these opportunities.

"We could have taken advantage of this cultural, political and economic situation," he said, referring to the loss of American prestige in the face of sanctions. But this opportunity, like the previous ones, is being lost.

The Secretary General of the Exporters' Confederation said that the main problem of economic actors in the current situation with the Central Bank is the systemic problems of the Central Bank for the return of export currency.

* The cost of eight to sixteen percent return of currency to the country

According to him, the currency on the way back to the country costs between eight and sixteen percent; But the central bank believes that the exporter should offer its value in the Nima system with five to ten percent lower than the price; This is while the volume of exports may be high, but the profit is low. This amount of deduction has no economic justification.

Emphasizing that the export of goods means competition with the world, Nafr added: "In these circumstances, the exporter's profit is not a few percent more, and if you turn the profit into a loss, it will have no result other than the qualified exporters leaving the scene."

He continued: "In these circumstances, exporters are accused of treason and failure to perform their national duty, while in the domestic economy, speculation has a very high profit." If there is a correct way to return the export currency that we are unaware of, we ask the government to export only ten thousand dollars and return the currency to the country and teach this method to the exporters.

"Exporters are playing on land that is rocky," he said. "We need flat land so we can do our job best."

* Set up clean rooms

Hassan Nazarzadeh Dabbagh, a member and inspector of the Iranian Offshore Cultivation Association, also pointed out that there are big problems in the field of export and import of the country, and said: "The main reason for these problems is the lack of a trustee." We have so much in parallel that there is no need to boycott the enemy.

He explained: "We are entering a market of seven billion and we are always offering a competitive price. The Chinese are offering that product below our price so that we do not enter the market, because their government supports it; But so far we have only heard the name of export export and practical encouragement.

According to Dabbagh, the country's trade needs a trustee and should be delegated to the private sector. So far there is no ranking for traders and everyone has entered the trade discussion. However, only a small number of people are able to export tomato paste to Turkey. They are also paid ninety to one hundred percent of the cost of attending the international exhibition; But we have only heard its name.

He announced the need to set up clean rooms and said: "Now the government operates in parallel with the private sector and as soon as the private sector enters an area, it makes the conditions difficult for the private sector."

* Soft war in Iraq makes export conditions more difficult

Also in this meeting, Seyed Hamid Hosseini, Secretary General of the Joint Chamber of Commerce of Iran and Iraq, stating that the current situation in the country is very difficult, stressed: If the country can spend this year with problems, the situation will be easy. This year, in addition to the pressure of sanctions, the outbreak of the corona virus and the budget deficit have made the situation more difficult, and we must work together to overcome this situation.

According to Hosseini, "Unfortunately, instead of focusing on economic issues at the level of government and parliament, the country is divided in decision-making and political factionalism, and we argue and talk against each other every day and understand the situation of the country and the region in the international system." We do not, this kind of behavior leads to nothing but disappointing people and undermining public trust.

He referred to the duties of the Chamber of Commerce and said: the Chamber of Commerce should promote the position of the private sector. Now, no one in this country believes this, and everyone thinks that the private sector is pursuing its own interests, while the private sector has shown its performance and position in big problems.

The Secretary General of the Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce, stating that the members of the Chamber of Commerce should be strengthened, added: The Chamber of Commerce has a duty to network and market to its members and minimize business barriers in the country in consultation with the three powers.

He stressed: "The fact that four months of the year pass and a law is passed that is effective from the beginning of the year shows that intrinsic and religious values are disappearing, because the essence of religion is fulfillment of the covenant." Instability in economic regulation has hurt and will hurt the country a lot.

Referring to Iraq, which is one of the country's largest trading partners, he said: "Now there is a soft war in Iraq against Iran. Social networks are against us, and we have relied on our traditional political and influence, which is easily destroyed by soft warfare. Under such circumstances, exports to Iraq will definitely become more difficult, and we cannot count on the future of Iraq.

* Barriers for organizations to use digital currency

Sadina Abai, a member of the board of directors of the Iran-UAE Joint Chamber of Commerce, said at the meeting that our connection with the country's elite is very small: "We want to see its effects when we vote for the country's elite, and this will be the time." To make more connection between the two parts.

"We are unaware of cyberspace in the current situation," he said. "There is not a single woman in the High Council of Cyberspace who, if present, would have made the rules more flexible, which she does not have now, and the teacher's approach replaces the approach." Be forced.

Abai pointed to the connection between production and exports and said: "In the current situation, if there is no production, there will be no exports." We have traditional production and we continue to operate in a way that does not meet the needs of the world today.

According to him, we now need digital marketing internationally to establish a stronger connection. We need to build scientific centers, hospitals, shopping malls and investment centers in other countries to export technical and engineering services.

A member of the board of the Iran-UAE Joint Chamber of Commerce believes that in countries where the target market is a trade, the country's political sector sometimes hinders the growth of the private sector instead of protecting national interests.

He continued by stating that digital currency is also one of the issues that should be addressed: in order to use digital currency, every organization and trustee has dealt with one type, while with this currency, small problems of exporters can be solved. resolved it.

* The main "transit" that was missed

In this meeting, Reza Elati, Secretary General of the Joint Chamber of Commerce of Iran and the UAE, noting that despite the bottlenecks in the field of transportation, our country is in a good geographical situation, said: "The UAE is economically dependent on Iran and many goods It is exported from the UAE and India to the CIS countries, and we have done little in this regard.

Emphasizing that international transit from Iran can be very important, he added: "We also face many problems in the Caspian Basin, including the low capacity of transportation." In the context of sanctions, paying attention to Eurasia and increasing transit capacities could be a new path for the CIS countries to reach the open waters quickly, and measures need to be considered.

* The probability of capital outflow of traders increased

Erfan Shakeri, a member of the board of directors of the Iran-UAE Joint Chamber of Commerce, also pointed to the three main options in the sanctions situation and said: "In this situation, we have three main options that are importers, exporters and producers." Meanwhile, the importer is accused of opportunism and the exporter is accused of treason by the government, and the producer is weak and oppressed.

"We are now on a path where future generations will be in trouble," he said. "Many businessmen are withdrawing their capital from the country, and this is a great weakness that will cause many problems for Iran in the future."

According to Shakeri, in the current situation, the opinions of the public sector are constantly changing, one day the export will be a model and the next day they will create an obstacle for the export. It seems that the Assembly of Experts can establish a close relationship with the Chamber of Commerce and use the views of the private sector.

The member of the board of directors of the Iran-UAE Joint Chamber of Commerce continued: The country has been facing currency problems, allocation of currency for medicine, food, etc. in the last few months of this year, which will definitely face problems of shortage, hoarding and inflation.

He said that coercive and punitive treatment of such conditions has the opposite effect, adding: "Everyone is moving to a safe margin and have turned to the stock market, gold, currency and so on, none of which is a substitute for production and supply." Will not.

Shakeri stressed: "Now the outbreak of coronavirus has kept many businessmen in the country, while after solving this problem, many of them may withdraw their capital from the country."

* The government is in a state of uncertainty and confusion in the economy

Hassan Baghaei, CEO of a manufacturing company, also said at the meeting: "If Trump had known how knowledgeable we are in the field of sanctions, he would never have left so much time for Iran."

He said that production is stopping, adding: "In these circumstances, it can not be said that China and Russia are also friends of Iran, and the isolation that is happening to us in the world has provided difficult conditions that are worth considering."

According to Baqaei, the government is in a state of uncertainty and confusion in the economy. One day it supports the stock market and one day it directs the money to the currency, this confusion is due to the lack of a coherent roadmap and the lack of explanation of economic goals in a coherent and supranational way. Conditions are not good and if we move forward with the same command, we will face crises and difficult conditions in the future.

* The current situation in the country is a mixture of political and economic problems

Ayatollah Mohsen Kazeruni, the representative of the leadership in the Assembly of Experts, emphasized in the end after summarizing the opinions of the private sector: "We are familiar with the problems in general and the Assembly of Experts can be a trusted media to convey the message to the trustees and the Supreme Leader."

He said that we will convey the issues raised and we are the trustworthy people, adding: the president himself is present in the Assembly of Experts and the cases will be transferred to him.

Ayatollah Kazeruni pointed to the unusual situation in the country and said: "Since the beginning of the revolution, soft sanctions have prevailed in Iran and we have passed them; But in the current situation, sanctions have imposed a very difficult problem on the country.

In a situation where the country's oil sales have been reduced to a minimum, while most of the country's income was based on oil, and now the outbreak of the Corona virus has added to the difficulty of work and has made the situation urgent.

Ayatollah Kazeruni emphasized: Part of the current unrest is related to sanctions and another part is the lack of management, especially in the supply of the country's economy. To solve economic problems, relevant and appropriate solutions must be selected for each sector; But apparently this is not the story of our economy.

Saying that another part of our problems is political, he added: "The conditions of the country and the root of our problems, which are a mixture of political and economic problems, should be such that the producer and businessman each have a favorable work and business environment, and this is important in hadiths and narrations." Islam has been emphasized and people should not be in so much trouble.

The representative of the Supreme Leader in the Assembly of Experts emphasized: "Export is a sacred work and the concern of all of us these days will be to solve problems. We hope that the root of the problems will be identified and solved with the care of the Supreme Leader."
