Majid Beki added: Nehbandan is one of the 31 cities that have been selected as the subject of less development in the pilot country and all agencies and ministries should have coherent plans to achieve sustainable development in these areas.

He said: Nehbandan city is the mineral hub of South Khorasan province, which in terms of diversity and types of minerals, more than twenty-three types of minerals with a capacity of more than one hundred million tons have been identified in the city, some materials such as andolusite and garnet are unique They are in the country.

The governor of Nehbandan, stating that this city is the center of granite in the country, said: This city also has potentials in the whole world, which has not contributed to economic development due to the lack of proper infrastructure.

The governor of Nehbandan added: this city has an area of ​​more than twenty-six thousand square kilometers and seventeen percent of the area of ​​South Khorasan, and the population density is less than two people per square kilometer, which has doubled the difficulty of work and service.

Becky said: Nehbandan Technical and Vocational Training Center was established in 2005 and was initially active in order to improve the technical and professional skills of three workshops in electricity, welding and automotive industries.

He continued: At present, twelve workshops and ten free technical and vocational schools are active in the city.
