Representative of the people of Tabriz, Azarshahr and Osko in the Islamic Consultative Assembly: Pursuant to paragraph c of Article 43 of the Sixth Development Plan Law, the specified percentages from the sale of mines and their pollution tolls have been delegated to the provinces.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Mohammad Hossein Farhangi stated at the 10th meeting of the East Azerbaijan Mining Council: "In this paragraph, it is explicitly stated that these resources are considered 100% allocated and are not items that should be allocated through the program and budget." , Rather, there is no need for workflow through this organization and as soon as it is received, it should be deposited directly into the accounts specified in this legal clause.

He said: "These sources of income should be spent for the purposes specified in this article, including completing the export of mineral products, completing the study, identification and exploration of all mineral resources based on geology and attracting private sector participation in development projects in the province."

The representative of the people of Tabriz, Azarshahr and Osko in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stating that the withdrawal of these amounts by the Program and Budget Organization is against the law, said: Mining and mining industries are among the country's economic priorities and are mentioned in the government bill. And in the specific economic context where the issue of alternatives to oil revenues is being discussed, serious efforts must be made to realize these sources of revenue.

Farhangi, emphasizing the need to identify the stagnant mines of East Azerbaijan, continued: "According to the law, they should be dealt with and the province's mineral opportunities should be identified and introduced from city to city, and the necessary decisions should be made about them in the meetings of the provincial mining council."

Pollution from the Sungun copper mine will destroy the region's forests for the next 100 years

The representative of the people of Varzeqan and Kharvana in the Islamic Consultative Assembly also said in this meeting: according to the law, fifteen percent of the government mines' rights should be paid to the cities and mining districts and the relevant agencies should follow up on this issue in this year's budget plan. To be realized, because in the program and budget law of previous years, a small amount of it was allocated.

Allah Verdi Dehghani, complaining about the environment that has removed the Songun copper mine from the pollution list, added: "When there is natural life, pasture, forest and water somewhere and a mineral unit contaminates the soil and water of this area with chemicals." It must be dealt with legally.

Emphasizing that the Sungun copper mine is really polluting, he said: "Dust from mining activities settles on the leaves of trees in this area and closes their airways, and with this process, gradually fifty to one hundred years." The future of the forests of this region will be destroyed.

The representative of the people of Varzeqan and Kharvana in the Islamic Consultative Assembly said: This mine produces at least three hundred thousand tons of concentrate and eighty thousand tons of pure copper, each ton of which is equivalent to at least six thousand five hundred dollars, and if five hundred dollars it is for extraction. Consider an amount of revenue between twelve to fourteen thousand billion tomans.

Dehghani continued: "One percent of the revenue of this mine in terms of pollution duties is equal to one hundred and twenty billion tomans annually, which can be saved from destruction by spending this amount in the forests of Arasbaran, and efforts should be made to bring this amount to the province." Be allocated.

He reminded: the provincial council of mines can approve that if damage is done from this area, it can take another one percent from the revenue of this mine, which totals two hundred and forty billion tomans, and this figure can be compensated. Provincial backwardness and pollution costs cost.

The representative of the people of Varzeqan and Kharvana in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, pointing out that tens of square kilometers of Arasbaran forests have been destroyed, said: What natural resources have taken to recreate and develop these forests.

Dehghani added: "In 1391 and 1392, the court sentenced this mine to about seventy-eight billion tomans for tolls, of which about forty billion tomans have been deposited in the treasury, and from this place a significant amount of money to restore these forests to The province has returned to take the necessary measures to regenerate and develop forests.

He reminded: now more than twenty billion tomans of the debt of this mine is left and the responsible organizations should cooperate with the exploitation company of this mine to adopt a solution to spend this amount for the development of Arasbaran forests.
