Iran's first Mining and Mining Industries Innovation Center (Imino), with the presence of Jafar Sarghini, Acting Minister of Industry, Kambiz Mehdizadeh, Senior Advisor to the Vice President for Science and Technology, Khodadad Gharibpour, CEO of Imidro, Hamid Reza Azimian, CEO of Mobarakeh Steel and a number of CEOs Big Mining and Mining Industries officially launched.

According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, the head of the Ministry of Industry said at the opening ceremony of the Imino Center: "The mining sector is not alien to research and innovation, and measures have been taken in this field, such as the establishment of UNIDRO." However, the mines need to move more towards innovation and research than ever before; The government will also be encouraged in this regard, and the mining law provides for discounts for miners so that they can pay for their research from government salaries.

According to him, calling for new ideas in the mining sector is permanent, and anyone with any ideas in this sector can come up with it. Also, the presence of the country's major steelmakers in the opening of Imino, such as Mobarakeh Steel, Khuzestan Steel and Chadormelo Company, shows the attention of these companies to modern technology and knowledge.

Our basic need is to acquire new technology in the field of mining and geology

Dariush Ismaili, Deputy Minister of Mines of the Ministry of Industry, said at the opening of the Imino Center: "Today will be a memorable day for a large number of elites and those who aspired to the scientific administration of the country." Pointing out that Dr. Gharibpour has paid a lot of attention to technological and scientific issues, he added: "Only with innovation, technology and up-to-date can we remain in the field of competition, and we in geology and mining need new technology and up-to-date."

Khodadad Gharibpour, CEO of Imidro, also said at the inauguration ceremony of Imino Center: "Today, five startup groups have been formed and we are trying to create a technology hub and companies such as Mobarakeh Steel, Copper and Khuzestan Steel should enter this sector and support it."

He continued by pointing out that the country needs a knowledge-based economy in the face of sanctions: "It is important to prevent the sale of raw materials and the productivity of production as much as possible."

Gharibpour said: "We hope that large companies will announce their support for knowledge-based projects and collections so that we can accelerate the process of becoming a knowledge-based economy."

We hope for a digital revolution in the country's industries

Hamidreza Azimian, CEO of Mobarakeh Steel Company of Isfahan, said: "We are pleased that today the first start-up center of the Mining and Mining Industries sector was inaugurated and it is hoped that in the coming days this center will flourish and the Mining and Mining Industries sector can take full advantage of the space created." .

He continued: "A few months ago, Mobarakeh Steel of Isfahan overhauled the Digital Transformation Center in cooperation with the University of Tehran, which will be operational within 8 months."

According to him, this is the second center of innovation and digital, and we hope that by continuing these measures, we will be able to create a digital revolution in all industries of the country, and ultimately increase the productivity and profit of shareholders and improve the business environment in all sectors.

Vice President for Science and Technology Supports Imino

The High Adviser to the Vice President for Science and Technology at the inauguration ceremony of the Imino Center also said: "Some countries have gone to the sale of raw materials, but in Iran we see that the Supreme Leader of the Revolution emphasizes the distance from selling raw materials; This has been achieved with the help of technology in the oil and mining sector, and crude sales can be prevented.

Kambiz Mehdizadeh also said: "We have taken measures in the field of knowledge-based and new activities, and the government supports these projects, especially Imino."

He stressed: "In Iran, especially in the mining sector, we must move towards innovation, scientificization and in-depth exploration, and pay more attention to the issue of medical geology."

Large mining companies and mining industries to support startups

Hossein Mansouri, Director of Iran Mining and Mining Innovation Innovation Center (Imino), at the inauguration ceremony of the center, expressed hope that the complex will be launched and its positive effects on the country's mining ecosystem, said: And were selected in two terms held in 1397.

In the process, five startups were eventually selected from thirty startups. According to him, the startups selected in this collection will see good things in this sector if they are supported by large mining and handicraft companies.
