Iranian Ambassador to Spain: Madrid is ready to lay the groundwork for the import of various products from Mazandaran to Spain, and planning must be done in this regard.

Qashqavi added: "In addition, Mazandaran has good capabilities in the field of wood industry and decorative stones, which is a requirement of Madrid and is supplied from China these days, which can be exported to Madrid in the form of raw materials."

He considered the advantage of exporting raw materials including wood industries and decorative stones as exemption from customs duties and tariffs and said: Mazandaran province can provide a large part of Spain's needs in this area and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic in Madrid is ready to prepare the ground for importing these Products are from Mazandaran to Spain.

The Iranian ambassador in Madrid mentioned the expansion of knowledge-based companies as another advantage of Mazandaran and said: Mazandaran has good advantages in the field of knowledge-based companies, and even at first glance it can be seen that knowledge-based companies in Iran and Mazandaran province have far more capabilities than Madrid.

Qashqavi added: "Over the past two years, due to political developments resulting from the formation of a new government in Spain and the outbreak of the Corona virus from last year until now, the issuance of visas for foreign business groups has been largely restricted, but now with the formation of the government New in Madrid, which also has good intentions in relation to our country, has provided the ground for bilateral business groups to travel.

He continued: "Currently, we have about 30 Iranian business groups ready to travel to Spain, but despite the good capabilities of Mazandaran province in various fields and the fact that none of these groups are from the northern regions of the country, a good ground for a delegation to attend." The Iranian ambassador in Madrid considered the visit of business groups from Mazandaran to Spain necessary to get acquainted with the bilateral needs and to develop joint cooperation, and announced his readiness for any cooperation in this field.

Qashqavi added: "Although visas are difficult to obtain in Spain due to the outbreak of the corona virus and the second wave of the virus, efforts are being made to reduce these problems through consultation with the Spanish embassy in Tehran."

He declared joint venture as one of the important ways to expand bilateral relations and called on investors in Mazandaran province to take the lead in this field.

Referring to the production of agricultural machinery in Mazandaran, the Iranian ambassador to Madrid said: "Companies producing agricultural machinery and tools in Mazandaran, with their ability to produce this equipment, can have a good entry into Spain."
