According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Farhad Dalaghpoosh expressed his regret that 60% of the mines discovered in the province are inactive and said: "There are 166 active and inactive mines in Gilan, despite 60% due to natural resources, despite the efforts made." Referring to the potential capacity of Gilan province in having different mines, he said: Mines all over the world are a capacity in wealth production and Gilan province is no exception to this rule because there are different mines in all parts of Gilan that can increase the economy and Help generate wealth in the country.

Dalaghpoosh continued: There are one hundred and six active and inactive mines in Gilan, which despite the follow-up and efforts made, sixty percent of them are inactive due to natural resources and forty percent of them are active.

The head of the Guilan Province Industry Organization, although the activation of other mines in the province leads to job creation in the community, said: One thousand three hundred and twenty-seven tons is the capacity of the mines discovered in Guilan province, the proper use of which is very economical and causes Gilan is progressing, so in this regard and for organizing active and inactive mines in Gilan, very good measures have been considered.

Dalaghpoosh announced the ban on mining for mining groups one to three in the northern provinces and specified: The main needs of the northern provinces in the field of mining are one to three of these groups (sand and stone), but unfortunately the issuance of mining licenses on request Natural resources and the Forest Organization have been banned, and the Industry Organization opposes doing so, but in European countries they also use their mineral potential to a depth of 150 meters.

He said that the development of Gilan province needs a mine exploitation license and extraction of materials, he said: the construction of railways and roads and highways need materials and sand, but since 1396, no new mining exploitation license has been issued and for licensed mining units It should also inquire about natural resources.
