Next month, a conference will be held to attract European investors who want to benefit from Iranian markets if US sanctions are lifted again.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, a conference will be held next month to attract European investors who want to benefit from Iranian markets if US sanctions are lifted again.

According to a statement issued by the conference organizers, the EU-sponsored European-Iranian Trade Forum will be held from December 14th to 16th, the first meeting in two years.

According to the report, international conferences on Iran's economy, trade and banking sectors increased after the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran, the United States, the European Union, Russia and China, but only after President Donald Trump. The United States withdrew from the agreement in 2018 and imposed crippling sanctions against the Islamic Republic, such meetings virtually disappeared.

President-elect Joe Biden has pledged to return the country to the Iran nuclear deal, an agreement reached by the Obama administration during Biden's presidency.

He said that in return for similar US action and the lifting of sanctions, he wants Iran to return to full compliance with the agreement.

The investment conference is currently being organized by the United Nations International Trade Center, an agency jointly managed by the United Nations and the World Trade Organization, and the Trade Development Organization of Iran.
