According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Kambiz Mehdizadeh added: "Many countries in the world have good mineral and oil resources, but they are among the poorest countries in terms of crude sales."

He stressed: "One of the best options for the development of the country is the subject of technology and innovation, especially in the field of mining geology and mining industries."

He stated that there is a virgin bed and space for investment in this field, and specified: "Today, with the launch of the Innovation and Technologies Center for Geology, Mining and Mining Industries located in the Science and Technology Park of Semnan Province in Shahroud, science lovers Geology and mining, startups and accelerators and knowledge-based companies can offer their products.

Mehdizadeh described the establishment of this center with the aim of preventing the sale of crude and said: we should distance ourselves from the sale of crude and the oil economy, because relying on one source can not progress, a combination of resources is needed for the development of the country.

The director of the Innovation and Technologies Development Project in the field of Geology, Mining and Mining Industries of the Vice President for Science and Technology pointed to the conclusion of two memorandums of cooperation between the Innovation and Technology Development Plan for Geology, Mining and Mining Industries of Semnan Science and Technology Park. He stated: These memorandums were signed in order to increase the cooperation of Shahroud Center with the Vice President for Science and Technology.

According to IRNA, the inauguration of seven projects, six visits and attendance at the meeting of the administrative council of the province was the one-day visit of Sorena Sattari, Vice President for Science and Technology, to three cities of Semnan province. The province has about 60 universities and institutes of higher education and more than 70,000 students.

 This morning, Sattari first visited the Science and Technology Park of the province based in Shahroud to inaugurate a workshop building, a growth center and two innovation centers. In this city, while visiting companies in the field of information and communication technology and machinery, as well as the proposed location of the Technology and Innovation Campus located in the Science and Technology Park, he also visited the production line of two knowledge-based companies in the industrial town.

The Vice President continued his visit to Damghan University and in addition to visiting the exhibition of knowledge-based products and the university's central laboratory, he also opened an electron microscope laboratory.

Sattari then attended Semnan city to take advantage of an innovation center at Semnan University and the Science and Technology Park growth center, and to attend a meeting of the provincial administrative council in the governorate.
