The Acting Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Ministry of Industry announced the identification of more than 1,200 promising mining areas and stated: 753 of these areas will be handed over to their owners.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Assadollah Keshavarz, in a meeting to review the proposed package of the Ministry of Industry to support and disrupt production, which was held in the presence of the Minister of Industry, MPs and private sector activists, said: "Also about 500 The mineral zone will be auctioned to eligible and qualified individuals for activation.

He stated that there are 310 zones in the whole country with an area of ​​more than one million square kilometers for activation and liberation. Is also underway.

Registration of more than 8416 mineral areas in the cadastral system

The Acting Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Ministry of Industry added: "Also, the number of areas registered by the cadastre system is more than 8,416 cases, of which 852 cases have been inquired."

Issuance of 1089 exploration licenses last year

Keshavarz added, referring to some statistics of licenses: Last year, about 1,089 exploration licenses were issued, which cover an area of ​​about 8,851 square kilometers.

He further stated that the number of discovery certificates issued in the last 12 months was 558.

The Acting Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Ministry of Industry also announced the issuance of more than 13,643 mining licenses last year.

A symposium and presentation of the proposed package of the Ministry of Industry in the field of support and deterrence of production was held in the presence of deputy ministers, representatives of private sector organizations and associations and members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.

In this meeting, various aspects of this proposed package were discussed and exchanged.
