Following the follow-up of the Court of Accounts, 650 billion Tomans of arrears of government rights of mines were transferred to the government account and two thousand billion Tomans will be transferred by the end of June.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, the issue of leaving the act regarding the non-receipt of government mining rights was on the agenda of the Court of Audit.

According to the latest report in this regard, according to the self-declaration of the officials of the Industry, Mining and Trade Organization in different provinces, it has been determined that up to 15 thousand and 200 billion Tomans of government salaries have been suspended from mines, which after receiving 65% of these funds It will be allocated to the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade to be used in the course of new discoveries and development of the mining sector, and failure to receive it on time will delay the implementation of policies and the growth and development of the mining sector.

The follow-ups of the Court of Audit last year led to the deposit of 650 billion Tomans into the account, and it is scheduled to deposit another 2,000 billion Tomans by the end of June this year, and this process of follow-ups will continue until the full realization of government rights.

It is worth mentioning that according to Article 14 of the Mining Law approved in 1998 and also Article 12 of the Mining Reform Law approved in 1390, holders of mining licenses must pay a percentage of the price of the mineral in the head to the government at the current rate as government salary.

The Court of Audit had previously issued a report on the state of the steel industry and warned of the depletion of iron ore reserves, stressing the need to speed up the exploration of new mines.
